Fundamentals of EBHC Practice                                                                           

The recent emergence of EBHC enables practitioners to be able to approach health care problems and evaluate research literature with consistency and deal with massive amounts of medical information using a qualitative approach. EBHC enables clinicians to identify relevant literature and also to differentiate between high-quality and low-quality findings.  

The practice of EBHC care includes four fundamental steps:

Step 1: Formulating A Well-Balanced Question

Step 2: Identifying Articles With the Best Evidence That Answers the Question

Step 3: Critically Appraising the Evidence to Assess Its Validity

Step 4: Applying the Evidence
